Hello! Our names are Danielle and Barb, and we are a mother-daughter duo working together to help cats in the New Orleans area. For more than 25 years, our home has been filled with tiny paw prints, midnight meows, and the soft purrs of second chances. What started as a mother-daughter “just one foster cat” adventure quickly grew into a lifelong mission: to make sure every cat—no matter their story—gets the love, safety, and dignity they deserve.

Today, our rescue is a labor of love, run with equal parts heart, humor, and an occasional battle over who gets to bottle-feed the newest arrival. We believe every cat has a personality worth celebrating—from the shy wallflowers to the bold sofa acrobats—and we work to give each one the care and confidence they need to thrive.

Over the years, our mission has expanded beyond our living room. We’re deeply committed to TNR (Trap-Neuter-Return), a compassionate approach that helps community cats live healthier lives while humanely reducing overpopulation. From setting safe traps at sunrise to returning our whiskered neighbors back to the territories they call home, TNR is one of the most important ways we protect cats who may never want to be house pets—but still deserve care.

Whether we’re rescuing abandoned kittens, helping scared strays learn to trust again, or matching the perfect cat with the perfect family, our goal is simple: create a world where every feline has a safe place to land and a loving home to call their own.
